Arash and Kelly are happy to announce the arrival of the baby in the Genius range.

Little Genius is an art and design storage station for all young budding Geniuses out there. Used either standing up – helping those young legs get strong or if it gets tiring the lid put on the ground is a great floor based hub for them to keep going sitting down.

Best of all, the beautiful birch plywood box provides ample storage for all those pens, colour pencils, crayons, paints and of course the Genius Pad itself when it's time to clear up and go to bed.

Of course it still comes with 2 x 150 sheet Giant sticky note Genius Pads for hours of doodling fun to keep your little one occupied.

order your Little Genius here, they are £125

Little Genius is expected to be available from March 2007.

Pre-order your Little Genius here.

Something different: Waribashi Revolution

We worked with the researcher's from the PaCE group headed by Dr Alexander Bismarck at Imperial college today. They were amazing and we had a great session where each group described their projects using Balloons. The presentations were brilliant with an amazing display by Dr Ryo Murakami (shown here) who presented his project using a Balloon in a Balloon analogy. Everyone was amazed!

The day was very interactive and many ideas were discussed informally.

The aims for the day were:

- Collaboration and the benefits from working together

- Sharing knowledge and ideas, exploring the materials’ properties and their hidden potential

- Creating new research perspectives

- To explore ideas relating to production systems, product cycles, manufacturing, raw materials & by-products

Then we applied all this energy to coming up with a new way to make the humble chopstick!

From Mandogroup's Blog, Martin Chapman Fromm wrote:

Having just invested in a Genius Pad, I've been desperate to use it in a client meeting. The opportunity came yesterday when reviewing a wireframe on our rather large projector.

Everything was going fine until we needed to add a note to the top of the screen, which is probably about 10ft high! Fearing ladders, a useful ally came to our rescue... Apple Mac OS X stickies!

Whether OS X stickies will replace the Genius Pad, time will tell, but at present it's a lovely marriage of light, wall, paper, and physical & digital interaction!

Cheers Martin, you are a Genius!

Second Life!

We thought you would be interested to see that our mail-order packaging is re-cycled in a very clever way .

We found a company in Manchester who collect all the left-over cardboard packaging from major retailers like Argos and make new packaging designs and products with the cardboard.

The cardboard packaging has literally been given a second life!

That's why you'll notice graphics on the cardboard packaging that has nothing to do with the Arash and Kelly products you ordered!

You'll see description for toasters, wine racks etc.

Each cardboard package is unique and different, how great is that!

To see how they are made click HERE!

Jason Iftakhar is the person with this great idea.

Lord of the Flies is our first product design for C.U.L.T adding to the amazingly beautiful images created by Zoobs for C.U.L.T.

The flyswot is our first 3D contribution to for pieces and projects being put together for an exhibition showcasing C.U.L.T Spirit on the 9th September 2009.

Profit from the sale of the flyswots will be invested in a project to help boost the income of women's co-operatives in morocco.

We are making 100 of the Flyswots available to you specially as a collector's piece.

These co-operatives are a life line for women seeking refuge for whatever reason, having been abandoned by family and with nowhere else to go.
