Arash and Kelly are Design activists based in Brighton.

Their design studio dreams big and initiates visions for projects which are about nurturing people and the planet.

The studio also design, manufacture and sell their product ideas.

The Arash and Kelly brand of products are distributed and retailed in design-led websites and outlets and the popularity of products such as the Genius Pad, the Big Clip,the ZiPP Lightshades and the Lord of the Flies Flyswat have established their reputation as creators of iconic commercial product ideas.

The studio collaborates on research projects with industry leaders to create new knowledge.

Our latest collaboration is with Stratasys inc. and their patented fused deposition modeling (FDM) technology.

The studio has invented a new application co-funded with Stratasys and the University of Brighton which is at the stage of being field tested with customers in the Engineering and Manufacturing sectors.

The team create and design products to suit promotional campaigns and product portfolios of small independent and corporate companies interested in engaging in social responsibility with Worldview Impact Foundation where we are on the Board of Directors.

Worldview Impact Foundation is dedicated to reforestation projects to help mitigate the effects of climate change as well as engaging in sustainable social development creating poverty reduction initiatives.

The studio also works with Paradise Farm in Sri Lanka, promoting the benefits of sustainable organic agriculture by running Academy projects in the U.K. nurturing the next generation of social entrepreneurs.

The studio works with world class cultural institutions like the Victoria & Albert museum, designing and delivering sell-out workshops and events as well as participating in research activities academically at University of Brighton.

They have also previously taught and independently mentored students at the Royal College of Art and the Free University of Bolzano and carried out research at the Helen Hamlyn Research Centre.

Arash Kaynama and Kelly Sant are both graduates from the Royal College of Art.
