All you need are a pencil, a ruler, scissors, a stapler, an A1 sheet of card, polypropylene or anything you like and get cracking!
You can follow the dimensions on the plan or scale up the A3 plans upto A1 and just follow the instructions :-)
This idea was first presented at the Victoria and Albert museum where hundreds of people sat down and made their very own lampshades...or hat shades ;-) Then we took the idea to Milan and Fabiana Vidal Leao De Aquino the curator of Hidden Heroes had the vision to let the workshop happen at the show and together we organised Students from IULM, the university of Brighton and the university of Bolzano as well as the public to come and make their very own lampshades.
