When floods occur and communities get cut off, drinking flood water to survive can be a deadly reality. Floods sometimes last weeks, and the floods in Pakistan show what a deadly impact it has on local communities with no infrastructure to rely upon.

Governments and NGO's have no alternative but to resort to expensive products (bottled water) and distribution strategies to provide water fit for human consumption.

Now imagine access to an amphibious floating water filtration unit that treats the storm water, purifying it to provide fresh drinking water to the communities for all their drinking and washing needs.

Another added benefit is that when the floods recede the filtration unit is still useful for the community by tapping into the local sewage systems or river systems.
